AB+ Product: EPSON Robots

EPSON SCARA robots are a certified AB+ product, so when you buy one it is supported to run plug-and-play with the AutoBlocks Control Block — with no integration programming required. An EPSON robot simply powers up and connects to the Control Block over a standard Ethernet cable using its built-in Modbus TCP, plus a standard I/O cable. AutoCode automatically maps and sets up the Modbus TCP communication between the Control Block and the robot, including all handshake mapping, so the I/O comes pre-mapped and you can be up and running in less than 30 minutes. Below you can download a starter EPSON robot template that handles the robot-program side of the handshake to jumpstart your programming at no charge. We also offer support for EPSON integration. Recommended for systems with a dedicated purpose and maximum ROI.

AB+ Product: Universal Robots

Universal Robots cobots are a certified AB+ product, so when you buy one it is supported to run plug-and-play with the AutoBlocks Control Block — with no integration programming required. A UR robot connects to the Control Block over a standard Ethernet cable using its built-in Modbus TCP, plus a standard I/O cable. AutoCode automatically maps and sets up the Modbus TCP communication between the Control Block and the robot, including all handshake mapping, so the I/O comes pre-mapped and you can be up and running in less than 30 minutes. Universal Robots are collaborative, easy to reconfigure and reprogram, and do not require an enclosure. We also offer support for Universal Robots integration. Recommended for maximum flexibility and adding machine tending to an existing AutoBlocks system.
